St John's Centre

A centre for the local community. Long term historic users of the Institute/Centre have re-established themselves (SuperArts, St John’s Pre-School and Lighthouse) and have been joined by new tenants (London Bridge Language School, Total Function and the Wellness Acupuncture team) all of whom provide quality services to the community. It has always been the intention that the ground floor hall would be used to provide space for groups within the community that would meet for social or recreational reasons. A senior citizens luncheon club has already started The Silver Liners which provides a soup and sandwich lunch with recreational activities in the afternoon on Tuesdays, and this is growing fast. There will be other initiatives for other age ranges and other needs and if you can see a gap that needs filling please get in touch our Centre Manager.
